Georgia Center for OCD and Anxiety of Athens, Georgia is looking for a full time independently licensed mental health professional to join our innovative and established private practice. Our practice is in a cozy one hundred-year-old home, located on historic Milledge Avenue which runs through the heart of Athens, home of the University of Georgia. We provide individual outpatient therapy to a varied population of clients, using empirically validated approaches and a culture of collaboration between practitioners and outside providers. We emphasize exceptional customer care, and strive to provide value added service to all clients.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in individual counseling, with a strong background in CBT oriented approaches. Candidates must be able to demonstrate clinical expertise in working with children, adolescents, and adults who present with a full spectrum of presenting concerns. Candidates should also be well informed with current research and possess enthusiasm, as well as willingness to seek out additional trainings and education related to the treatment of anxiety spectrum disorders. It is required potential candidates have familiarity with using computer applications, and experience using an EMR would be preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated with the ability to take initiative working independently.

It should also be noted in light of the current and ongoing pandemic, this position will require a willingness to engage in telehealth or teletherapy.

This is a full time independent contractor position with compensation based on a fee splitting arrangement. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, with availability for evening appointments required. Position includes exceptional earning potential and assistance with building a caseload independent of managed care. Our competitive contract includes office space, furniture, billing and HIPPA compliant administrative technology and support. We also include peer support and group collaboration on a weekly basis.
