Kasey Brown

Kasey Brown completed her undergraduate training at New Mexico Military Institute and the University of Georgia, earning an associate’s and bachelor’s degree in psychology. She completed her master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Georgia as well. After her graduate training, Kasey entered into private practice at the Georgia Center for OCD and Anxiety. Kasey currently holds full, independent licensure in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Throughout Kasey’s career, she has focused exclusively on the treatment of OCD, OCD-spectrum disorders and Anxiety Disorders. In order to ensure she is providing the most effective, research-based therapy to her clients, Kasey continually participates in trainings from many of the nation’s leading organizations. Kasey has completed four Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTIs) with the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation (IOCDF) – General BTTI, Pediatric BTTI, BTTI: Advanced Training Forum, and Hoarding BTTI, as well as trainings through The TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (TLC) and the National Tourette Syndrome Association (TSA-USA). Kasey uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and other evidence-based treatments to successfully help children, adolescents, and adults overcome OCD, OCD-related disorders, Anxiety Disorders and co-occurring conditions. Kasey is past president of Georgia affiliate of the International OCD Foundation.
